Account Deletion

This page explains how to request deletion of your Talq AI account and associated personal data, both inside the app and through public web channels.
Delete your Talq AI account
You can request deletion of your Talq AI account and the personal data associated with it. This page is the public resource referenced for Apple App Store and Google Play account-deletion compliance.
Option 1 — Delete inside the app
- Open Talq AI on your device.
- Go to Profile.
- Open Account Data.
- Use the Delete Account flow and complete identity verification if prompted.
Option 2 — Request deletion outside the app
Email privacy@talqai.app from the address associated with your Talq AI account, with subject line “Account deletion request”.
If you no longer have access to that email address, explain the situation in your message and we will reply with identity-verification steps before processing the request.
Before you submit a request
- If you have an active subscription purchased through Apple or Google, cancel it through your app-store account first. Deleting your Talq AI account does not automatically cancel app-store billing.
- Deletion removes your account and associated app data, subject to limited retention required for legal compliance, fraud prevention, security, accounting, encrypted backups, and the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims (see the Privacy Policy, Section 9).
- We may ask for reasonable identity verification before completing a deletion request, in line with Article 12 GDPR.
What happens after deletion
- You lose access to your profile, learning history, progress, scenarios, and other account-linked data.
- Limited records may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, tax, accounting, or legal-claim purposes.
- If you contact support after deletion, we may retain the minimum information needed to document and complete that interaction.
